The board approved the following:
Financial Reports, Revenues & Expenditures, for June and July and Board Approval Listings of bills paid in June and July for General Purpose School Fund, School Federal Projects Fund, and School Nutrition Fund, and School Capital Projects Fund. August reports will be reported at the next meeting.

The board approved a listing of surplus and obsolete items.
The board approved the contract with Brown Edwards & Company, LLP to audit the Student Activity Funds for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, for $16,564.
This amount is derived from the RFP amount of $14,864 with an additional $1,700 amount added for the addition of Tennessee Online Public School. This school was not included in the original request for proposal and was subsequently added. The FY 2024 contract was signed for $14,437 with an additional amount of $1,600 added later to audit the Tennessee Online Public School. The total for the FY 2024 audit services is $16,037.
Haynesfield Elementary School educators shared activities the school is implementing as a result of a $10,000 iSLICE grant from the Center of Excellence in STEM Education at East Tennessee State University. The iSLICE projects focus on STEM and ELA integration, project-based learning, computational thinking, and social and personal competencies. Watch the above video to learn more about the exciting opportunities iSLICE is bringing to Haynesfield students. The Haynesfield team included Tanika Hardin, Principal; Abbie Bouton, Kindergarten; Ashley Rhea, First Grade; Jenny Wright, Second Grade; Lauren Ragan, Third Grade; and Pam Egeler, Librarian.
The board approved the following policy on second reading: Policy 6.202, Home Schools.
The board approved the following policy on first reading and one reading only: Policy 1.806 Advertising and Distribution of Materials in the Schools.
The board approved the ESSER 3.0 application.
The board approved the Title IX McKinney-Vento Application, Fiscal Year 2025.
The board approved the FY 2025 Lottery for Education: Afterschool Programs (LEAPS) application.
The board approved the Innovative School Models (ISM) Application, FY 2025.
The board approved the State Special Education Preschool Grant Application, FY 2025.
The board approved the Public School Security Grant Application, FY 2025.
The board approved the Memorandum of Understanding with Frontier Health.
The board approved the master services agreement with MGT Impact Solutions.
The board approved the cost for the Imagine Learning Edgenuity Comprehensive Site License.
The board approved the purchase and installation of video boards and score table for Viking Hall, utilizing an OMNIA Partners contract, in the amount of $352,476.01.
