Declan also received the Award of Excellence for Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity from the National Federation of State High School Associations. This award honors remarkable student-athletes who have demonstrated exceptional character and sportsmanship in their athletic pursuits. Declan was one of 85 student-athletes in the state to receive this honor.
